woke up with random moving itches all over my body including mouth. no rash. i took benidryl which didn't help much. what should i do? causes?

Skin irritation: something touching your skin that is irritating it?  sheets? pajamas? take a shower with cool water, don't take anymore benadryl (diphenhydramine) if it doesn't help

See dermatologist: If the itching is so bothersome, you should consult a dermatologist since dry skin is apparently not the issue. The itch pathway is far more complex than we had thought and no longer just a matter of histaminic action.  (I assume you have tried antihistamine already. If not, you may give it a try).

i got a sudden rash behind my neck/upper back area 2 days ago. itches all over but the welts are only on neck/back/head and behind my ears. the little welts look similar to chickenpox and are puss filled. possible covid? my daughter was exposed?

Doubt it: The limited location &amp; cited appearance suggest a contact dermatitis reaction to some agent. This could be a shampoo/soap or other material that passed over  the area. Keep it clean &amp; it should heal. It does not sound like covid.

posted earlier about generalized itching. now ive been on antihistamines for a couple days and my itching nearly gone. what are some histamine-related causes of skin itching all over body with no rash (since the meds make it go away)?

"Pruritis": is the medical term for itchiness and chronic prurtitis is unfortunately one of the most complex medical problems ....a few "simple" tests and a visit to a Dermatologist are a good start..testing of LIVER function (especially the so called "obstructive" liver tests ,kidney function and some allergy testing  are a beginning. NOT TO WORRY  but your SYMPTOM needs a solution and treatment

Allergic reaction: Most likely you are dealing with some type of allergic reaction.  You don't need to see a rash on skin to be having allergic reactions.  Something has caused your body to release histamine, and now you're itching. Try a general antihistamine such as Benadryl or Claritan and see if these help. Then you have to tract down why you're having release of histamine!

Itching: Any med can cause an allergic reaction  if it started after the atvorstatin you could simply stop it and see if the itching resolves.

Medications: This is a potential medication side effect. Are you taking Progesterone injections at this time? See your doctor as they can go through your medication list as well as look for other causes if not a medication problem. Good luck.

Get checked: Anxiety, can cause itching without any rash. Some metabolic disorders like uremia can cause itching but typically there is a rash or discoloration. See your doctor in person for a complete history and physical. Good luck
