Thrombus: I would be very concerned about the clot in the iliac artery along with serious blockage and high grade narrowing of the right Iliad artery. A vascular surgeon must be involved in your care of these dangerous findings. If the aneurysm is tiny it has less significance than the other findings.

i was playing basketball and quickly turned my head. i then felt a sharp pain in the back left of my head a bit above the left ear area. the pain was gone within a minute but is there anything i should watch out for? was this a ruptured aneurysm?

i have a splenic  aneurysm that is 16x15x15mm i also have sciatic pain on left side that comes and goes is this a cause of concern for it rupturing?

Theoretic speak : two do not have direct correlation, but pain, especially if great enough, causes adrenaline and cortisol to rush out from adrenal gland. can lead to blood vessel spasms-contract and constrict. Which can, in theory, cause aneurysm to be more susceptible to these physiologic fluctuations. Aneurysms are areas where blood vessel wall is thinner because of the "bubble" effect. low on possibility though

Aneurysms: I believe your vascular surgeon is best qualified to evaluate and advise you as there may be no need to operate on these aneurysms unless they reach a certain size. I wouldn't expect shortness of breath to be related to the aneurysms unless they're leaking blood, but the left upper abdominal discomfort is of concern and the vascular surgeon's opinion about this is very important.

Many years: The likelihood that an abdominal aortic aneurysm will rupture is mostly related to how large it is. Most aneurysms develop very slowly over a number of years. Once it hits a critical size however, the risk of rupture outweigh the risks or surgery and therefore surgical repair should be performed.

my grandma has a stomach aneurysm. she is 81 dr does not want to remove it. what will this basically mean for her? is it just going to rupture?

Bring her here...: Possible, depending in size and location.......a repair can be done by placing agrft by cath ( angiogram type ). It does not involve surgery...

Cost too high: Aneurysms are rare. Aneurysm rupture is even more rare. Therefore, to test everyone for aneurysm and then treat then would be a great cost to society with very little benefit. However, because aneurysm rupture is so dangerous, I do encourage immediate family members of a patient that had aneurysm rupture to get screened. It is multiple times more likely you will die from auto accident.

No: Stress is the holistic whipping boy for many medical problems and has no relation to their cause or exacerbation.

: There are signs and symptoms of most brain aneurysms which are found incidentally or after rupture/leak which give symptoms depending on location and parts affected

Very: Two reasons- it can send clot down the arteries and cause death of the leg resulting in amputation. It also may rupture.
