Depends: Seroma is a fluid collection in the empty space where the hernia had been located. Seromas resolve over days or weeks. Depends on where the hernia was located and how large the hernia was, with larger hernias taking longer to heal. These fluid collections generally resolve on their own without additional intervention.

Possibly: Any bulge in the abdominal wall can be a hernia.  If you lie down and it goes away, or with gentle pressure, it also disappears, it could very well be a hernia.  There are several typical locations, the belly button (umbilical hernia), around the groin (on the right or left side of the pelvic bone around the bladder), or at the site of a previous incision.  See a general surgeon to validate the dx.

Pain: A little sketchy on the details? What kind of tumor did you have? Was it also a nerve sheath tumor? If do, you two may have a hereditary condition like neurofibromatosis.  If you had a totally different tumor, it is hard to say without more details. You mention a hernia? Did that occur at the site of surgery? Or unrelated? Regardless, your slow recovery warrants another visit to your doctor.

can a hiatal hernia disappear? i had an endoscopy over a year ago and a small 1 cm hiatal hernia was discovered. recently i underwent another one and they said there was no hiatal hernia detected at all. can they heal themselves?

: 1cm is pretty small and may have not been visualized if it reduced itself during the second endo. Tho anything is possible in medicine most of the time there is no self- healing if a hernia

Possible: if a person lose weight and end up with less abdominal pressure that will push the stomach up in the chest ,the sliding part of the fiatal hernia will be gone, but the actual hernia which is a widening in the opening of the hiatus will always be there ,but will not be visualize by X ray or endoscopy, specially with the lack of reflux.
your hernia unless repaired suurgically will always be there.

Sounds like: it could be either a lipoma or a hernia. In either case your doctor should be able to examine you and make the correct diagnosis so that it can be properly treated especially since you are having pain with it.

can crohn's disease complicate a supraumbilical hernia? my abdomen swells a lot. inside naval will bleed and pus occasionally. then symptoms disappear?

Fistula: You need to make sure you don`t have a fistula between the intestine and the abdominal wall.

after 2-3 months of a noticeable lump in right groin with aches and pains, the lump has disappeared almost entirely (wearing a loose hernia belt) but the pain and aches have not. is it possible for a hernia lump to disappear like this?

Lump in groin: The lump may be more than a hernia. See a urologist for evaluation and treatment
