i had an eyelash on the inside of my lower eyelid and i used my nail to scratch it out, a clear strand of something came out from there and now its uncomfortable to blink or close my eyes. what was that? should i go to my doctor?

Yes: You may have injured the mucus membrane lining of the eye and that could have become infected. It would be prudent to see your doctor or go the emergency department of a hospital.

Minimal: Usually not bad.  It can be very annoying and uncomfortable and should be removed.  Usually symptoms resolve withing 24 hours.

If no help irrigatin: g your eyes under the faucet, it&#x27;s time to go to your eye doctor, and have your lid exerted to remove the lash or foreign object. For now until you get there, you can use OTC Artificial tear lubricating gel to reduce the irritation. Don&#x27;t delay! Or your cornea or conjunctiva will feel irritated. Good luck!

i got eyelash extensions and i think the tape used under my eye scratched it. i felt a bit of stinging. now the blood vessels in my eye are red?

Eye care: You MUST see an Eye doctor as soon as you can.

It is annoying, but I have been wearing glasses since I was 6 and am now 72. You will likely have an opportunity to either have contact lenses or spectacles.

Hard to say: Rashes usually require a direct exam unless it is described in specific detail, which is not available here. Eczema, atopic dermatitis, baby acne, &amp; other issues may be at play. I would have the kid seen as treatment if any requires an appropriate diagnosis.

Red rash: An itchy rash in a two month old could be a variety of causes.  It is possible to be a viral rash, an irritation from a perfume in a soap or item of clothing, or allergic cause.  An associated red eye is more likely to be an infection of some sort.  Is he feeding well? Any fever? Have a visit with a physician to get a thorough exam and diagnosis!

my baby is 10 months and is constantly scratching her eyes, face and head. she has been doing this for months and doesnt seem to get better. ive applied cortisone cream and mylocort as she had a rash too?

See her doctor: Please see her doctor today. Although she was cleared by the ER, if she is still not herself, I would recommend another examination by her doctor or back at the ER. They may say she is fine, but it is best to be sure that there is no internal head injury.
