my eyebrow keeps twitching.  is there anything i can do to make it stop. it has been going on and off for about 4 - 6 weeks now.  it is starting to drive me nuts especially at work.

If : If this has become a chronic problem, you should see your ophthalmologist or oculoplastic specialist who may first look for a cause (xray--mri etc...) and if none is found --botox can be very helpful.

See Below: This is most likely facial nerve  (cranial nerve vii) fasciculation, a benign condition linked to stress or caffeine (too much or too little). If it gets to the point where you can't open the eye see an ophthalmologist.

Botulinum toxin: This can be treated with botulinum toxin (e.g. Botox).  Suggest you contact your PCP who can refer you to a neurologist who does these injections.

Try reducing the stress/stimulant factors, and get an eye exam for the other causes.

Sev'l possibilities: It depends how long it has been going on, whether there are other facial muscles involved, other associated factors (trauma? Thyroid?)  to get the most accurate diagnosis, see your doctor, esp if it has been going on for more than 3 months.
