Something is wrong: Bladder infections are a real problem when neglected, and you should get checked by a doctor immediately.  In the mean time increase your fluid intake dramatically, take cranberry juice. No alcohol or spicey foods.

i have a pressure on my bladder that is an ache too. i constantly feel like i need the loo. been taking urispas. but there is no relief. i do not have a uti, we checked. what could this be? its been here since 22/03/2020

Urologist: Consult a urologist. Appropriate testing will be done in order to make a diagnosis and advise you. There may be a noninfectious process like interstitial cystitis as the problem.

Here are some ...: Ultrasound exam on kidneys &amp; bladder through body surface is usually done via body surface so it is very noninvasive and uneventful. Hence, there is no reason to link soreness with its use, except, occasionallly after transvaginal approach to visualize female pelvic organs. So, visit your Doc so to look into other possible concomitant reasons for soreness.

Distended Bladder?: A full bladder from drinking a lot of fluids the night before could explain that. Otherwise bladder spasms or urinary tract infection among others. A urinalysis could should some light.

: May be subclinical prostatitis or UTI , interstitial cystitis   or epididymitis . Would check urine and  have a prostate exam .  F/u/ w/ urology

Good question: Bladder lining is full of sensory nerve endings. Cystitis or UTI affecting bladder cause unflammation of lining which irritates sensory nerve endings & can cause ache, soreness, burning pain with, frquency of urination & can also cause involuntary bladder contractions which coul;d result in wetting accidents.

Need further workup: There can be several things. Would need a more complete history and physical exam to evaluate further. To name a few it can be irritable bowels, stomach or pancreas related problems. Please see a local physician for complete evaluation.

sore and ache in perineum and occasionally in testicle for 1 month. urologist found nothing wrong. ultrasound, x ray, psa clear. found i hold 1.5l of water in bladder. pain started after ejaculating after abstaining for 2 months. whats wrong?

: Holding 1500cc in bladder is a bit outside normal. Are you sure?. Try emptying your bladder frequently and Sitz baths for a week or so with otc Ibuprofen

in general how long will someone be sore/in pain after having bladder sling and recocele surgery?

2 weeks: Rectocele will hurt more than the sling. Most of my patients awill return to sit down jobs in 2-3weks. Drive by 10 days post op.
