Poison control: Are better suited to answer those questions, call them again if you're still worried or take your child to the doctor for examination and reassurance

Choking hazard: The swallowing of the gum is generally not a problem.It is made of components that we can not digest so the body can't break it down, but it will eventually be passed in the stool. On the other hand gum (along with a myriad of other "treats") is considered a choking hazard and parents are cautioned not to give to small children.

my two year old took a bit of a cheese stick through the wrapper. she swallowed the plastic wrapping. do i need to worry about it being poisinous?

No: If it's just a bit of wrapper, it should pass through with no problems.  A whole wrapper could present a problem.  Watch for belly pain or related.

Medical attention: Yes, take your child to the er. She could develop aspiration pneumonia.

Allergic Rxn: I wouldn't recommend the xanax (alprazolam) beforehand. Ask your doctor about this, though. Reactions to barium are extremely uncommon. Nothing to worry about.

Depends: These are an urgent issue if they stick in the swallow tube.If he can drink any fluids now you know it made it to the stomach. The rounded edges make it likely to pass in 3-4 day. If he develops colicky belly pain  I would have him seen. If it doesn't pass in a week an x-ray can show it's location or that it did pass.

Fluoride: Because Fluoride ingestion may lead to serious gastric upset as well as a host of effects like low calcium, high potassium, nausea, vomiting, increased salivation, seizures (due to low calcium &/or magnesium) and worse (with severe poisoning), it's best to have the child seen in an er where vital signs & electrolytes can be monitored & treatment instituted.
