Anxiety shows itself: In may ways.  Once can mentally obsess over things that frighten the person or do behaviors to keep danger away, e.g., ritual behaviors, checking and re-checking.  Physically there can be heart palpitations, shortness of breath, sweating, sleeplessness, etc.  Please go to a mental health professional for support if you think you have an anxiety disorder.  Please see your doctor first.

Yes: Severe anxiety can cause an exaggerated physiological tremor that can resemble twitching.

Twitch: Is it progressive - occurring more often over time? Did it begin with introduction of a new medicine or supplement? Is there a family history of neurological illness? Any other associated symptoms? Does it intensify with stress? Does it leave you socially compromised - where you may not want to be with others because of self-consciousness?

Benign fasciculation: It's a familiar syndrome, nobody knows the cause, and this time I am glad to reassure you. If this stuff doesn't progress in months, it's harmless

Muscle twitches: and anxiety can be due to low magnesium.  Your doc can measure your magnesium level and you can purchase magnesium supplements at the health food store.  Jigsaw magnesium is a good brand name. Peace and good health.  2-3 cups of coffee sounds ok but taper off and see what happens.

Don't make it worse: The reported side effects for a drug vary from 2/100 to 80/100, depending on drug and side effect. Know that it MIGHT occur, and move on with life--on the med. Then IF it does, you'll already know what caused it--call Dr to report it. If bothersome, ask for a change in med. If not, then ignore it and will fade over time. Breathe and relax. :)

: The brain communicates with the skin and in anxiety states various skin sensations can be triggered. Twitches can also be triggered by anxiety due to release of neurotransmitters by the nerves supplying the muscles. Nevertheless I recommend consulting a neurologist to give you peace of mind. Any appropriate testing will be done. You should benefit form stress management coaching.

See a doctor: Whether or not this is restless leg syndrome will require a full medical assessment.  If it is, then there are therapeutic options which can be tried.
