See your doctor: All those symptoms appear unrelated. It is very unusual for someone of your age to have spinal compression fractures without significant trauma. So if you really do have compression fractures, you need to find out what is causing those fractures? You will need to undergo a physical exam, and various diagnostic work-up, to understand what's is causing these issues.

is there one medicine for spasticity and muscle spasms? associated with neuropathy. which is recommended??

No: There are multiple medications we use for muscle spasticity to varying degrees of help including flexeril, zanaflex, soma, baclofen, Valium, and skelaxin (metaxalone) just to name a few.  Discuss directly with your doctor what would be best for you.

why does my leg have shakes or muscle spasms since i fractured that pelvis?

Accepted Answer

Lack of use/injury: Either disuse atrophy with fasciculations or nerve compression/injury are most likely responsible. Ask your physician. Swelling of injured nerves may resolve with decreased spasms. Physcial therapy with building up of "lost" muscle may also help.

Back pain sequellae: I think it's possible that you could have pain in the lower abdomen, pelvic area or into your legs due to the herniated disc. Maybe not directly from the disc pushing on the nerves, but possibly because you are moving differently, using different muscles, to "protect" the painful area in your back and prevent it from hurting. If unable to control bowels or bladder, see a doctor quickly.

Stress fracture: Stress fractures can certainly cause muscle spasms in the muscles that attach to the area of the fracture.

Germs, injury & OA: Germs, eg bacterial, specifically sexually transmitted diseases/infections cause pelvic inflammatory disease (pid). Muscle spasm in back is often due to injury. However, there are many other causes of back pain. Osteoarthritis is most common cause of hip pain but likewise, there are other causes, too. Best to go see your doctor for a complete evaluation.

i have had spasticity with full body muscle spasms(especially in feet) and stiffness for 6 weeks. along with light tingling and feeling of weakness in left hand. does this mean i have als? note: i've had two mri's and both came back normal?

: ALS needs a good clinical as well as lab work in addition NRI.  It could be something else too. Pl see a good neurologist. Wish you well

Be seen : Clearly if you have lost the sensation in your legs and you can not stand or walk you need to be seen urgently, even if it means going to the emergency room.
