heard that feeling like a "blood pressure cuff" wrapped around a leg is common in multiple sclerosis. how is ms diagnosed?

Common? How so?: Careful of the hallway lore that people speak in dimly lit corridors.  I have many MS patients who have never complained of that symptom and some who have. MS is diagnosed by a specialist and by taking a careful detailed history of things the person has been experiencing to see if it fits a "story" consistent with the diagnosis. MRI of the brain and spinal cord are also important to the diagnosis.

i had slight double vision while driving after dark last night and i'm wondering if low blood pressure could have been a contributing factor?

Could be: certainly could be.  Monitor your blood pressure over the next few days, drink plenty of fluids, and if the double vision comes back you should have evaluation with your primary doc.

Hawthorne,licorice &amp;: Salt only raises BP significantly in a minority of people!
Licorice root often raises BP. Hawthorne berries can raise it for those with low BP.

Diet, Exercise, PCP: Low-salt diet, regular exercise and weight loss of 7% of your total body weight if you are overweight can help control your blood pressure.  Current blood pressure is borderline normal and is not a reason to worry.  But blood pressure does change and keeping a blood pressure diary to present to your doctor can be helpful to your PCP to see if you need any medications.

Low BP?: No. Low bp is when your stand up you faint or get dizzy. 
One "problem"with this pressure is you will live a very long time and will not likely suffer from heart disease.Keep up the good work.

For ADD, yes: I'm assuming this is an add medication question.  If so, then the answer is a categorical yes, barring any other contraindications for the meds.  If you're talking about recreational amphetamines or abuse of add meds, then no - significant damage can occur, though it'll have nothing to do with low blood pressure.

Blood pressure: Low pressure can decrease the filtration through the kidney resulting in a decreased total renal function.

Sure: Though that said, the most common cause of low BP in patients previously with high BP is meds. That said, as the arteries get stiffer, it's easier to have large swings between your lower and higher bps. Make sure all measurements are being taken at rest and not around times of exercise.
