Test 14 days after: You may be testing too early - a home pregnancy test could turn positive 12 days after an iui, but it's more reliable 14 days after your IUI (or 14 days after your second IUI if you did two days of iuis in a row). Best wishes.

No: Cycles may vary from month to month due to many causes: hormonal fluctuations, stress, tension, anxiety, metabolic issues, infection etc. I advise waiting 2 weeks and start keeping a menstrual diary. As regards pregnancy- pills and condoms- safe and sound.

You're pregnant: Basically, positive is positive. The hormone levels are low very early, but will rise over the next to reach the highest levels around the time of your second missed period or 7-9 weeks. So the very faint positive is just a diagnosis of an early pregnancy.

Possibly pregnant: You should definitely see your doctor about this. Have you been sexually active since the miscarriage? If it was an early miscarriage, ovulation can occur quite soon. Therefore you might be pregnant. Be well.

At least 2 weeks: Conception may take  place only if  sexual intercourse happens within few days from  ovulation. After conception it takes about 2 weeks to produce detectable levels of HCG, the hormone responsible for a positive test.

Test performance iss: It is possible that you are doing something that doesn't conform to test manufacturer's instructions. If you don't have  pregnancy symptoms  and the blood test has been verified out of error by the lab, then that is the correct one.

Too soon: It is too soon to test for pregnancy with the IUD having been removed only since 9/5/14. Wait until early October to re-test for pregnancy as the negative present test is correct.

We are humans!: We are humans so our world is not perfect, not 100%.  That means it is normal for lab tests not to be 100% accurate.

why is my hpt negative?

That's normal: All normal girls and normal women have negative home pregnancy test results during the majority of their lifetimes. It's only when a woman becomes pregnant that the test result turns positive (but returns to negative after a baby is born). Thus, the normal baseline result is negative.
