See MD asap : Depending on your medical history, meds used (are you on birth control?), it could be something dangerous so see your PCP asap. If this is sudden and worse headache of life, go to emergency room now. If this happens every month, could be migraine.

my wife has bppv.reoccurs frequently even with epley.advances in surgery with lower risk of hearing loss?36 years old, no head injuries, healthy.

Keep looking: Vertigo can have other causes than bppv, such as meniere's disease or migraine, so i would only consider surgery as a last resort.  My suggestion would be to do a trial of medications to treat meniere's to see if they help, such as Lasix (furosemide) or acetazolamide.

i am 83 and have significant hearing loss over the past 10 years.  recently i have begun to hear swishing noises in my head when i am trying to sleep.

Pulsatile tinnitus: I recommend you see your ENT or otologist. You may need an updated hearing evaluation and presuming you do not have uncontrolled cardiac or vascular issues, possibly a radiographic study to evaluate the relationship of blood vessels to your hearing system.

ENT consult: Throbbing pain in the head can be due to tension type headache or muscle pain, but hearing loss is not a common symptom; consult your pcp. If hearing loss is sudden and constant, ENT consult.

Headaches: The cause of the headaches are variable. Inflammation if the occipital nerve, a pinched nerve in the cervical spine, TMJ disorder, and mastoiditis are leading contenders. See a headache expert to determine the type of headache and to develop a course of treatment.

Likely noncaddiac: Normal heart beats can frequently be heard by patients when they lie on their side or ear. It's a common complaint i hear in the office. We title it "cardiac awareness". Uncertain why it manifests itself to patients when it does. I suspect this is not a cardiac abnormality. Headaches obviously shouldn't be treated lightly. Common allergies on up to more important organic causes may be responsible.
