Not HIV or other STD: No STD causes cough, nasal congestion, or other cold symptoms. Neither does HIV. Acute HIV symptoms, when they occur, are sore throat, headache, muscle aches, inflamed lymph nodes, and rash -- but not cough, runny nose, sinus symptoms, etc. Almost certainly you just have a cold or allergy, not related to any sexual exposure (unless your partner also had a cold). No worries, no need for testing!

Cough: The productive nature of the cough is related to the cause. The status of your HIV can increase the likelihood that your cough is due to an opportunistic infection and not just to you having hiv.

What it seems to say: Fuid in surface. Even if this happens, the risk is huge if it is semen on a roughed-up mechanically traumatized rectal mucosa, zero if it is saliva on a lip during a kiss. Love safely and wisely and don't read uncritically.

HIV on paper : The HIV virus is not stable and not very transferable on hard surfaces. Your description needs little more clarity, but I doubt you are at risk. Ask a doctor for testing to be sure.

Not necessarily: The value of a negative HIV test depends on when testing was done in reference to possible exposure history.  Recurrent sore throat with mucus could be due to a number of causes including chronic sinusitis, allergies with associated post nasal drip, reflux, tumors, or simply recurrent viral and or bacterial infections.  So, there are many other conditions that can lead to the symptoms described.
