i have 5 oligoclional bands and no lesions on the spine or the brain.  could this be ms?  i have had tingling for a year and a half.

A consideration: The bands are confirmatory of MS if MRI, history, physical findings, course of pathology all consistent.  But bands alone can be due to different problem. Has a small fibre neuropathy been considered??

2 tiny lesions on brain 1 enhanced, 1 non. no symptoms of ms. only have headaches. no lesions on spine. dr's are confused. what could be causing them?

Need diagnosis: The enhanced lesion is indicative of inflammation of an acute type and would definitely suggest next step being a lumbar puncture.  If this is negative, would repeat films in about 4-6 months.  Also, if you feel your doctors are confused, find a neurologist for a second opinion.

Yes: Ms medications reduce the chances of new relapses including new spots on MRI but they do not completely eliminate that possibility. There is a chance that spinal lesions will appear in the future even with meds but the meds will make that possibility much less. Hope this helps.

if i had mri w/contrast of brain & spine, brain showed lesions. & all other ms symptoms, diplopia & psoriasis, could it be ms or what else?

Probably not: However, these lesions on MRI are suggestive of ms but they are not diagnostic. They can also be seen in lyme disease and in systemic vasculitis. It never hurts to get another neurologic opinion.

will a mri without contrast show ms lesions? brain and spine clear on recent mri, still having tingling/heat sensitivity. my neuro says  no ms.

Likely, yes: Mri brain and cervical spine are only part of the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis.  However, if those non-contrast scans are negative, i'd look for other causes of your symptoms, including thyroid disturbance, high or low blood sugar, anemia, and others. Journal your symptoms, note trends and factors that worsen or improve your symptoms--that is very high-yield!  good luck!

what would cause weird left leg sensations after a month of bronchitis.tingling in foot after a hot shower or getting overheated. neuro said from spinal problems per mri. mri of brain/spine negative for any ms lesions. ssep&emg negative.still worried?

Plan: If all these serious tests are negative for abnormal findings and your symptoms subside slowly,  it's most likely no need to worry. Ask more questions your doctor about MRI result.

No: Hemangioma is just a pooling of blood within the vertebral body. Multiple sclerosis is a neurologic disease with plaques on the brain and spinal cord.

Shows demyelination: Recent revision of the diagnostic criteria for MS have increased the importance of MRI findings. The diagnosis of MS is made sooner in the course of the disease based upon the appropriate history physical findings and MRI findings. The MRI abnormalities suggest demyelination in the brain/spinal cord. If all other causes of demyelination are excluded, ms
is the likely cause and treatment can begin.
