Your choice: Rinse or not? This depends on what rinse you use. If it is for cavity prevention and the rinse contains fluoride, spit well, but best not to rinse--the remaining rinse continues to add Fluoride into your tooth. If it is to kill germs in mouth, ;  you do not want the chemicals to be absorbed by your body, rinse off. Most otc products seem to expect no-rinse to offer its efficacy, however. Spit well.

No: Do not rinse after using Listerine so you get the maximum benefit from it. Use the flavor a with the ADA seal n it because these contain the essential oils that are antimicrobial.  Listerine can be intense so you can dilute it a little bit.

i had instacart delivery today. owner looks after a stray cat. 2 bottles of colgate total mouthwash delivered. i didnt see any holes. i rinsed bottles with plain water before using. rabies? can cats bite into tough plastic like this?? i used once?

Yes.: The mouthwash's antibacterial and cleaning effects are while "rishing" inside your mouth.  None are good to swallow.  Rinsing your mouth afterwards is not a bad idea!

Alcohol in eye: Rinse the eye out thoroughly with tepid (luke warm) water for several minutes. If there is still pain or burning, have someone drive you to an ophthalmologist for further treatment. Do not try to drive yourself.

Yes: Warm salt water is always good to help areas heal in the mouth, including dry sockets... Just not for the first 24 hours after surgery...

No: No dont rinse out your mouth with water immediately after use. The mouthwash continues to work even after you spit it out. Use a mouth wash with Fluoride and dont use alcohol based onces too much as they will dry out your mouth. If the chemicals or after taste become too bothersome then its ok to rinse with water.

with a tooth infection how soon would your face swell if it was going to the only thing i can use is salt water rinse and peroxide mouthwash ?

Variable: If you have a true infection, you should be on antibiotics. You should find a health care professional who can examine you and prescribe one. There is no way to determine how quickly the infection will spread, especially without a medical history and a clinical and radiographic evaluation.
