Maybe irritation: Could be irritation from a sharp tooth, trauma while eating or a burn from hot food. If not resolved within a week, see a dentist for evaluation.

Get checked: Could be a chancre sore, apthous ulcer, tonsillitis, virus or strep. See your doctor as soon as you can!

hi there! i'm concerned about  this painless mouth ulcer (possibly a mucocele) i have  for about 3 months now. it's abt .2 cm in dia. & it's red in color. what could this mean? thanks for your help!

See your dentist: An ulcer of a small size and short duration , perhaps a few days, might be best monitored.  Your lesion while small should have resolve long before 3 months.  See a medical or dental professional soon for an evaluation.

i have a mouth ulcer that has turned green. is that bad or is it okay? i have read that they should be red, yellow, or gray. does green mean it is infected or something?

Idaho : Idaho falls, 
green is not normal.  It is so not normal that i can't even guess what it is.  I know it has been stated but see your dentist.

Mouth Ulcer: Many disease can cause mouth ulcer. The most common ones are aphthous or canker sore , and herpes.
Please check it with your doctor.

on depakote.  no more gi pain.  have orange-red fecal liquid and grease in stool.  big mouth ulcer. is it nutrient absorption related?

Insufficient bile: Usually, when there are problems with the gall bladder or liver, insufficient bile excretion may  lead to fatty stools. Food may pass through without being adequately digested. Inflammatory bowel conditions, such as ulcerative colitis , may be associated with oily , greasy or bloody stools, which may appear orange in color. It is important to make sure that there is no blood in the stools. Thanks.

red rash across nose and cheeks, worse after sun, tmj, reynauds, sore elbow joint, chronic dry eyes, non painful mouth ulcer. could this be lupus?

Lupus?: Go find out. The Lupus rash has a distinctive butterfly shape. There is a blood test to screen for Lupus. Your medical history will have to be revises, and you will have to be examined, to determine if you have Lupus.  See your General Practitioner or a specialist Endocrinologist for examination, imaging, lab tests, diagnosis, and appropriate treatment plan.

Ulcer or blister?: An ulcer would be described as a crater. This is best treated with 50% mixture of water and hydrogen peroxide rinses for 2 minutes 3x per day. A blister is fluid filled.Rinse with 1/2 tsp of salt in 5 oz cup of water for 2 minutes 3 x per day do not pop.

Depends on pain: Oral ulcers happen most frequently from trauma from eating or tooth brushing and usually heal within 5-14 days.  Ulcers lasting longer than should be checked to determine the source of the ulceration.  Cancer must be considered if the lesion persists.
