i had a molar extraction early yesterday, the clot formed i don't know if it dislodged but it sunk to the bottom of the socket, but no extra pain?

No pain: Good sign. If you have increasing pain, foul taste, foul odor, swelling, excess bleeding, contact your General Dentist or the specialist Oral Surgeon that did your surgery. He/she is the practitioner that knows your situation best, and the practitioner that is responsible for your post-surgical care.

Any pain?: the real concern is whether any discomfort or pain is associated with the clot.  If there is no discomfort or pain , most likely normal healing will occur.  I do not know what the white substance is.  Perhaps food debris, perhaps some yeast.

Molar extraction: As long as you don't have much pain, i'm not worried about a dry socket.  Eight days out, i think you should only get better from here.  Feel better.

No problem: Normal healing process. As long as it is covered no worries about dry socket. Dry socket occurs when clot is lost and socket is empty and open, then must heal from bottom

How are you feeling today? Are you in a lot of pain? Is the area extremely sore or sensitive?
If not, then you may be fine regarding the dry socket concern you have.

Just because the clot was dislodged does not mean you will have a dry socket issue. Give it a day if you are not in extreme pain, otherwise call your dentist and have him/her evaluate your condition.

i had a double tooth extraction three days ago (one wisdom and one molar) both at the back of my mouth. the pain since then has become much worse -i cant tell if the blood clot has formed but i am experiencing bad breath and jaw pain.is this normal?

Dry Socket: You may have dry socket. You'll need to go back to your dentist for follow up care. A medicinal paste will be placed on gauze and inserted into the wound. This will help with the pain and speed up the healing process.

what is involved with a  mandibular molar extraction?

Simple steps : After taking an x-ray, the tooth and gums will be  numbed. The dentist will gently pull the 'gum' away from the tooth, then use an instrument to wiggle the tooth before using a forcep to tug it out of the socket. Sometimes the tooth is sectioned into pieces to be removed easier. You will be given pain medication. Usually the procedure is easy and only takes a minute.
