IT is rituximab: In the USA we use what the FDA approved and that is Rituxan (rituximab) and in Europe the name Mabthera is what was approved in Europe by their FDA the EMEA.. This medication is used for certain cancers, rheumatoid arthritis,certain inflammatory blood vessel syndromes we call vasculitiis

Be Patient and Slow: It sounds like some event frightened him. Slowly work with him to do the things he used by being there, being laid back in talking about it, and take baby steps to let him seperate from you.Allowing him time in another setting, such as a day care , may help.

This : This test is done by inserting very small needles or electrodes in specific points in your extremities. It's a very helpful test to determine if you have a neurological problem, like carpal tunnel syndrome or any other peripheral neuropathy. It's also helpful in diagnosing more central neurological problem, like herniated disks.  It works by measuring how fast a very small electrical impulse travels through you nerve - if it's to slow or to fast you might have a problem.  I would look for a neurologist for this test.

18 yr old female with a possible meniscus tear. do you recommend surgery? will i be in an knee brave immobilizer? how long until i can drive after?

Yes/no/maybe: It depends how bad the tear is and which meniscus.  Many meniscal tears can be treated with physical therapy alone.  I would start by seeing an orthopedist or sports medicine dr, possibly getting an MRI to see exactly what's going on inside, and try pt.  Many surgeries can be prevented with pt.

is there an laser eye hospital that offers lasik with general anesthesia? i don't feel brave enough to survive 5 minutes without getting scared.

Accepted Answer

No: The problem is during the procedure you need to look at a light so the doctor can center the treatment. If you are asleep, there is no way to be sure the treatment is centered on your cornea.  However, with some sedation beforehand and careful reassurance by your doctor you should be fine. Remember, everyone who has the procedure is scared.
