i'm trying to stop taking celexa (citalopram). can i take a half 10mg of celexa (citalopram) and a half of mirtazapine 15mg. and slowly get off celexa (citalopram) and totally on mirtazapin?

Unusual response and: Mirtazapine has a half life of 20 to 40 hours ie half the dosage taken is used in the first 20-40 hours after intake    and half again in another 20-40 hours etc - you figure. As to the hallucinations difficult to say

This antidepressant : Is sedating and is often prescribed at night because of this, usually 30 mg.  You should discuss this with your prescribing physician, however, since there are other sleep medications to consider.  Note: trazadone is another antidepressant that is frequently prescribed for sleep.

Yes, but: talk with your doctor about how to do this. Please list all your meds (a "variety of antidepressants" is not a good substitute for a careful listing)  Ask about risks of serotonergic syndrome and the risks of exacerbating your IBS with any medication change.

if feminax is just ibuprofen and lysine then its fine to take together. if you have complications or problems you should see your physician.

Not common but, yes: This can be a side effect but it can also be your old condition feeling worse. Some seasons heighten allergy as do other situational conditions. Talk w/ your Dr to try to find your cause. Symptomatic relief may be found till then - what helped in the past? Call your Dr. Best!
