BM: If you have not had a bowel movement for 14 days - hard to explain - please have someone take you to the nearest Emergency Facility.  Hard to believe no bowel movement - the Emergency facility will check your bowel movements.

I : I am sorry that you are going through this.  You need to see a gastroenterologist and have a complete evaluation.  You may need a colonoscopy or a transit-time study to evaluate your intestinal tract.  There are multiple causes of constipation.  I am assuming you are on a high fiber diet,  walking as much as you can (preferably 2-3 miles a day), and are drinking plenty of fluids every day.  Check to see if any of your medications cause constipation (any narcotics  or psychiatric medications cause constipation).  But you do need a complete GI evaluation.

If you develop pain, fever, or vomiting then you will have to go to the er.

i have extreme constipation   i am taking 8 senna pills at night/  i have tried enemas,miralax,magnesium citrate, go litely,linzes, suppsostosrie    i do have to take hydrocodone daily .   i am in desperate need of a good plan to conquor this issue?

OIC: You have opioid induced constipation (OIC) and have failed regular options- you need to take naloxegol which is specific for OIC. Taken as 25mg per day - this will help as it reverses the effects of the opioid on the bowels

Just mag citrate: You can have just magnesium citrate. Why are you having bowel prep. Discuss with your physician if mag citrate is a substitute that is satisfactory alternative. Tell him miralax (polyethylene glycol) volume is too much. However though discomfort it is do-able for most people

Constipation. : Are you uncomfortable? Are you having any abdominal pain? Are you distended in your abdomen? I would think that at this point you should see a doctor and at least have an x-ray of your abdomen. More than a week is a bit long to not have a bowel movement.

Constipation: constipation, easy to diagnose but difficult to treat. It is a long-term problem, needing long-term solution with life style changes, plenty of fruits and vegetable intake, proper water intake, regular toilet routine and ling term use of Miralax (polyethylene glycol). May need to see gastroenterolgy specialist if the problem persists

What?: Why did you take a medication not knowing what it does/is for? Magcitrate treats constipation. It usually is "effective" within 6 hrs, if going to see results. Can cause gassy/abdominal cramps and pain while it tries to make things move. Citric acid is in all citrus fruits, among many other things for flavoring and preservation.
