Mastitis: Milk fever is an old term for mastitis, or inflammation and/or infection of the breast. Your breast(s) may be warm, tender or red. You may feel sick as well. If you have any of these symptoms you need to call your ob/gyn right away.

See pediatrician: Babies cry because they are hungry, tired or ill. Have him seen by a doctor ASAP and be safe. Always err on the side of caution. Babies can deteriorate very quickly.

Yes true: Retained placenta usually causes persistant cramping and bleeding and wouldn't affect your milk supply.  However, if you can save some of the tissue in a clean zip lock, your gyn can send it to pathology to confirm what it is.  This might just be membranous endometrium.  In addition check a pregnancy test as this could be a new pregnancy.  Breast feeding isn't protecting you anymore.

Upset stomach: These  may be signs of gastritis . Be slow and gentle , more liquids , until stomach is ready to digest. Even constipation can cause these symptoms .

Ginger for nausea: I don't believe milk helps with nausea but Ginger tea or gingerale will help nausea. Ginger tea is really strong so super slowly.  If you're nausea continues call your surgeon.

: It  is very likely that he has not had enough oral intake.  Unless he has developed abdominal distention, abdominal pain, and vomiting, watch and wait approach would be appropriate.

Yes: No studies have shown any problem with drinking milk  if you have a fever.  Milk may make any diarrhea worse, depending on the source of the fever.

Yes: I see no reason not to give a toddler milk when febrile. This old myth probably gains followers because some of the kids have fever first & start barfing later. The milk takes a bit longer to digest & curdles due to normal stomach acid. If they barf, they usually blame the milk, though it is really the nature of the illness.

Clear fluids!: Gingerale, soup (chicken), jello-these are all good and are unlikely to cause stomach issues with fever! plenty of water!
