: Residual accumulation of lactation fluids from prior pregnancies may cause a "sour odor" as at "25 weeks" of pregnancy, engorgement of breast tissue may cause compression of breast tissue leading to expression of prior fluids.

PID? See doc ASAP: BV could cause the discharge and odor. But abdominal pain plus discharge suggest pelvic inflammatory disease (fallopian tube infection), and BV often accompanies PID. Yellow-green discharge suggests possible STD (gonorrhea, chlamydia). All together, PID is a good bet and she needs care ASAP. If can't been seen today by her doc or someone covering, go to ER or urgent care. DO NOT  DOUCHE first.

Only enough to learn: How awful it tastes! in small amounts it is not poisonous even to infants/toddlers, so you probably are okay. It's unlikely that your being pregnant changes that - but you can call poison control to be sure. Although we all do it from time to time, the bigger risk could be drinking from a milk carton. It's a place that bacteria might be quite happy and also a way to share germs with other folk.

Yes, safe: California produced almonds are required to be pasteurized prior to sale by 1 of 3 methods: Roasting or blanching, steam or Polyethylene oxide contact. The almonds are then ground finely and mixed with water in clean vessels to produce the milk. I cannot comment on almond milk produced outside the USA. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!

If you have lactose intolerance like many of us, you may want to avoid it or drink either lactose- free or soy milk. There are varying degrees of lactose intolerance. As we get older we make less and less lactase, an enzyme that breaks down lactose in milk. Many adults get gas and bloating with mil.
