Fatty changes: I presume you had an ultrasound .  That being the case, the echotexture suggests fatty substance since fat is echogenic on ultrasound ..  Doesn't mean you are fat but perhaps diet or medication influenced the liver

Not necessarily: You provided part of the radiologic findings, but from the particular highlighted statements , there is no statement or finding that suggests an enlarged liver.  Usually the term "enlarged" or hepatomagly will be included.  Just know you can have changes consistent with fatty liver without an enlarged liver.  Best of luck.

Maybe: Most normal values depend on the measurement being obtained at the "mid clavicular line" , with upper limits of normal at 16cm.  The liver comes in many shapes and sizes however, with many normal variants.

Depends: It difficult to say without actually seeing the image and knowing your history. It may simply be a variation of normal given the mild gradation. Increased liver echogenicity can be seen in a context of hepatic steatosis (many etiologies - obesity, diabetes, hepatitis, alcohol, medications side effect including steroids, and even pregnancy). Talk to your doc and correlate with liver function tests.

: This could be the beginning of fatty liver-which is an inflammatory process. Weight loss definitely helps with this so, if you are overweight, losing weight is warranted. You should see a liver specialist to help with the diagnosis and treatment-to make sure you do everything possible to avoid further liver injury. Avoid alcohol and limit acetaminophen dose to 2 grams daily at most. Good luck!!

Right upper quadrant pain with an enlarged liver is best evaluated by a gastroenterologist to order any other appropriate testing including CT scan, MRI &amp; liver biopsy. Since no common bile duct dilatation is described, an ERCP may not be advocated as yet. Consultation with an abdominal surgeon may be recommended depending upon results.

Echogenic: Means that ultrasound waves are reflected back to the transducer.  It means that the mass is solid, not cystic or filled with fluid.  Solid masses might need further investigation, depending on size, location, and number.
