No: Your spine is nearly mature at age 23-29 (late) so it is fixed until you get old enough to develop osteoarthritis. At that point, your back could be worse than gals the same age- but not much ,if any.

It means he should : Be observed closely and a MRI of the spine should be obtained as it is a left type curve rather than a right bent one which can sometimes be due to a neurologic issue.  Most curves do not need surgical treatment and some need bracing.  The indications for treatment depend on age of patient, size & location of curve and rate of progression or worsening.

Scoliosis treatment: Levoscoliosis implies that you have a curvature of your spine that points to your left. The l5-s1 disc is often associated with a compensatory fractional curve. Typically, treatment tends to be conservative - pt, medications, and on occasion, spinal injections. Bracing is typically reserved for children with scoliosis who are still growing. Surgery is reserved for only severe cases of scoliosis.

No it is not : Dangerous as a mild curve and should not restrict you i. Any employment or activity.  However, since it is a left type curve, a MRI of your spine is recommended as this type of curve can be associated with a neurologic issue as a precaution.
