Doctor can evaluate: Recurrent symptoms need evaluation, because something is wrong. Lots of things are in or near the "central stomach" area, such as the stomach, small intestine, large intestine, pancreas, gall bladder, etc...  Possible pain causes include pancreatitis, gastritis, stomach or duodenal ulcers, gall stones, cancers in any of the organs in the area, stomach / intestinal / gall bladder infections, etc...

Abdominal pain: This could be anything. One of the causes of abdominal been getting worse when laying down is pancreatitis. Seek medical help.

More info needed: Where in the abdomen is the discomfort located? Typically appendicitis localizes to the right lower abdomen and associated tenderness there is classic. Sharp,fleeting pains in other parts of the abdomen are often gas pains or mild intestinal tract spasms. If symptoms persist,worsen or localize to the right lower abdomen, especially with tenderness, consult a physician for examination.

mild occasional stomach pain two months after 2g of amoxicillin a day for two weeks and ibprofun for two weeks before. pain isn't everyday either.

Abdominal pain: This may or may not be related to the Amoxicillin or the Ibuprofen (which can cause gastric irritation). The abdominal pain needs a new and thorough evaluation, perhaps for Helicobacter infection or other ongoing issues. You might want to consult with a GI doctor.

my daughter age 12 is having frequent stomach pain ( once or twice a week very mild or sometimes mild ) which gets alright in 1 day or lesser than that or in less than 2 days . can it be appendicitis ? no other symptoms?

Unlikely: From what you described appendicitis is unlikely. It is not feasible to provide a more meaningful opinion without examining the patient. If the child gets fever or loses weight, it would be prudent to see a doctor.

why does lactose intolerance (mild case) cause stomach pain?

Gas production: From what i remember of biochemistry, lactose intolerance is your body not breaking open the sugar molecule lactose. That leaves all of the sugar to be eaten by the bacteria that line your gut to eat it. They produce and you feel the gas byproduct. If you have a slight case of lactose intolerance then you can partially digest the lactose. Lactaid does a great job of breaking up that sugar.

Post endoscopy: this could be normal after the procedure but to be safe i would place a call to your gastroenterologist

FOOD POISONING: Symptoms of food poisoning are nause, vomiting and diarrhea.Sometimes you can have low grade fever.Quick sharp pain can be due to irritable bowel syndrome.Avoid sugarless gum ann caffienated beverages.

Gastritis : Limit your spicy foods, vinegar, citrus, alcohol, cigarettes, chocolate, hot temperature foods, tomato-based products, peppermint and spearmint. You can use medications like over-the-counter Zantac (ranitidine) or Pepcid which will ask faster than a Prilosec-but these more effective in the long run. TUMS is fasted  for relief. But is very temporary and no real healing.
