Hematoma: Well, it leaked again. An elastic  sleeve, carefully applied elastic bandage and some ice 20" as needed. Check your blood for bleeding tendencies.  I do not believe this is unusual. Speak to someone at the blood bank,

Go to Dr.: What part of the arm? Prominent veins most of the time are not serious unless is only one arm and associated to swelling, pain or redness or caused by compression of masses in the thorax or axilla. If you exercise too much that arm increases in muscle size plus prominence of veins  &may be normal. There is some concern about a possible clot in the deep veins, or arteriovenous fistula if unilateral.

i had a cta scan and they had to put an iv in my study for the iodine to flow through.  my arm hurts all along the vein up to my elbow.  normal??

Phlebitis: It is not uncommon to get inflammation in your  veins after an injection of intravenous contrast fluid. Usual initial treatment is warm compresses. if it worsens, spreads up the arm, turns red, if any fever or swelling develops, please see your doctor for a re-evaluation.

: Seems like a lot of tests. What are they looking for? Where is the pain? What type? What makes it better or worse? You need a good history and physical exam to be co-related with the needed tests so please find a good MD or vascular surgeon to do that. Good luck

i have been have fast heart rate as high as 140 and low heart rate as low as 40. i get severe vein pain and my hands turn purple and on another time i get chest pains as well as numb face and arm pain. but no doctor will believe me because i am 30?

: By your age, if you have the symptoms as described you probably have a systemic condition which affect cardiovascular system such as systemic sclerosis or SLE. The heart rate change can be detected with 72 hour Holter monitoring. You should seek a second opinion and request for a heart rhythm monitoring.

Left arm pain: There needs to be more specific information. Was there an injury? Where does it hurt on the left arm? Were you doing something? Did you just wake up in pain? How long has it been going on? It is difficult to assess for the possible causes without more specific information.

Where is pain: To answer this question i would need to know where the pain is.  Regardless, if you have persistant pain with working out i would stop doing the painful exercises and see if the pain resolves.  If not it is time for an eval with your friendly neighborhood orthopaedic surgeon.
