Ear: hard to tell from the story but sounds like an outer ear infection or swimmers ear. if so DO NOT flush it. Keep it dry when showering, dont swim, use the drops and see an ENT to make sure theres no wax and to clean it

How: Was it prescribed. Follow the prescription, hopefully also on antihistamine . The steroids may need to be taking at intervals and for a few days and possible add a topical steroid

You could.....: but there wouldn't be a lot of point. The steroid does everything the aspirin can do and then more. It's not likely you'll get any additional benefit from adding the aspirin. There might be more risk of stomach irritation if both are taken simply because the pills directly TOUCH the stomach (but, most likely, there isn't additional stomach risk either for the same reason).

Depomedrol (methylprednisolone): Won't gain weight long term from just 1 injection. Injection lasts typically 1-4 months.

PEP/PUPPPs?: Polymorphic eruption of pregnancy or pruritic urticarial plaques and papules of pregnancy (pep/puppps) is the most common and benign pregnancy dermatosis. It merits supportive treatment only with topical emmolients (aveeno), antihistamines as needed for itching (atarax or Benadryl (diphenhydramine) - do not drive!) and patience. As with any widespread rash, steroids can help for a while, but are best avoided.

Depends on dose! : Large doses ( greater than 10 mg acutely), are likely to to initially make you feel wired, or energized!  larger doses will affect the brain more .  Steroids should be taken in the morning. If taken before sleep, you will not sleep well!

Call your doctor: Depending on the reason you're receiving the methylprednisolone, it may or may not be reasonable to either adjust the dose of the steroid or the beta blocker.  Without more information, i can't really help you beyond that.

See details: The side effects you describe can all be related to Methylprednisolone use. Why are you taking this med in the first place and how long did you plan to be taking it? Speak with the doctor who prescribed the med. If its use is not essential, then consider stopping it.
