Methadone: Methadone (Methadose, Diskets, and Dolophine) is used to treat narcotic addiction &amp; is also sometimes used for  pain. Allergic symptoms can include swelling of tongue, throat, lips or face, difficulty breathing and hives.

2nd generation: antihistamines are best, because they do not increase sedation, and don't have major interactions or effects on sedation.  They are all pretty much OTC these days as well.  The best, in my experience, is Loratadine (Claritin).  Unless you have severe congestion, I would avoid the Claritin-D or pseudephedrine (Sudafed), since it likely will give a false positive amphetamine test on urinalysis.

hi i'm currently taking 150 mgs of methadone daily .. is it ok to take loratadine also my dr gave it to me for my allergies and sinus infection  ?

Varies: Urine tests may be positive for several days or even longer (weeks) if metabolites are tested for also. The best policy is to have a doctor's note specifying that you are taking it or took it under medical supervision. Otherwise you can not know for sure  how long you will test positive.

I can't tell: Looked up ingredients and there are way too many to tell.Consider diet and exercise as opposed to a booster. Walking, cut out soda, sugar, saturated fats and trans fats as a start. Drink water before and in between meals. Good luck!

Should be out: Most likely should be out if you have normal metabolism no kidney or liver disease your urine should be negative.

Yes: lab errors happen.if u have take home bottles, get retested so your take home bottles aren't taken away. Currently it appears that you are not taking methadone. Lab errors do happen,though.

i was given methadone almost 2 weeks ago and it was basically a one time thing and i just took a drug test at my pain management will it show up?

Probably not: Probably not. Methadone is a long acting opioid with a urine half-life of up to 2-3 days. Metabolties may last longer. Since it was only a one time dose, it is likely to have cleared by now. To be safe, tell your pain management physician about it.

Most likely: Methadone half life is up to three days, so you should be fine (unless you take more).
