You need to make sure that nothing else is causing this

You may also consider taking gas-x before you take your metamucil to decrease gas a known side effect. 1 serving metamucil powder is 2.4 gm soluble fiber.

: Omeprazole may work better than pepcid. Metamucil helps constipation. For thus, make an appointment with your GP especially with the fatigue and burning muscles. If you have other symptoms such as weight loss, abnormal exam or bloodwork, or a family history of cancer, your GP may either refer you to a gastroenterologist or check for a bacterial infection in the stomach. This can get better!
