Some thoughts...: The infection, sinusitis, decay from the tooth, dry mouth, the antibiotic, plus a host of other factors can all be contributing to your symptoms. Have your dentist restore that rotten tooth and any other dental issues you might have. Then, if your problem(s) persist, see your PCP.

GERD: The two most common causes of this are: 

gerd - gastroesophogealrefluxdisease where acid comes back up from your stomach and

another possibility is that you have a necrotic or dead tooth that needs a root canal.  A dentist can check for this.

Bad taste and smell: Several factors can lead to each topic, my first recommendation would be to consult with your Dr, medications, sinus infection, poor oral hygiene are some contributors to the taste part, but there are other systemic issues that could also be causing the body odor part.

Unknown.: I don't think anyone knows the answer to this.  It is not commonly reported with benadryl, (diphenhydramine) but there are many medications that can cause this sensation.

More history: Usually "dysgeusia" with an odd metallic taste is from taking medications (even calcium carbonate) or "just happens" & is never explained.  I trust you are otherwise well & do not have occupational exposure to lead, mercury, or cadmium.  Try running floss across your tongue, and using plastic utensils.

Medications or resto: Both can cause a metallic taste in the mouth.  Silver fillings tend to leach out a metallic taste when they encounter acid       (juice, bacteria).
