There are many: Psychological instruments, tests, and we would need to know which one.  Even that would only give us statistical reliability and validity.  Tests are only as helpful as the clinician who administers, interprets, and helps you apply that information to life.  Peace and good health.

Don't Understand: The types of stress listed in the question are unclear to me. 

Usually an echocardiogram is done at rest, and sometimes at cardiac stress, with exercise, or more commonly, with a medicine to increase cardiac workload.

Yes: Usually, if you're entering an in-patient ward, you will have a physical, including a blood test.  For partial hospitalization programs (php) or intensive outpatient programs (iop),  you might be asked for  a physical from your primary care doctor.  There's no need for a completed physical or blood test if you start individual outpatient psychotherapy.

Time for a visit: Mental health issues are sometimes difficult to pin down in childhood. The presentations vary and require some training to sort out those that respond to simple measures from those needing specific professional help. Your pcp or pediatrician may have screening tools they use in the office to aid this process.A visit to rule out medical issues and provide specific referral would be wise.

No quick test: It is best to see your doctor or a mental health professional . The fact that a person is looking for a quick test makes the case that a consultation would probably be best. It is complicated.

in 80 yr old seniors  when taking the cognitive decline test from mental health services (for signs of dementia), if the patient already has dyslexia would this interfere with the result in causing a false test result in the diagnosing of dementia ?

: Dyslexia might make it difficult for a cognitively impaired senior to accurately complete the testing, but these are screening studies and not as comprehensive or as accurate as a full scale neuropsychological test battery.  Nonetheless, such tests do provide a pathway to further evaluations.  MRI imaging can be very objectifying, and an EEG would likewise help.  A neurologist may be very useful.

can anxiety cause constant chest burning and shortness of breath? many tests . . . if heart is ruled out should i go the mental health route?

Yes!: Anxiety can mimic all sorts of medical conditions. It can make one feel something that does not exist or may magnify a small problem out of all proportion to its importance. If you know you suffer from anxiety, by all means seek help with a mental health professional. There is great hope that you can be helped. You are not alone; many people are afflicted with anxiety. Not seeking help=poor choice.

Work up: In the presence of night sweats and abdominal pain, weight loss should be further investigated  with imaging. Depression is likely part of the picture, but should not be assumed as the only cause as it cannot explain above symptoms. Best would be to return to the doc who started workup as he or she will have the best view on your symptoms.
