Period length ?'s: Most post ovulatory menstrual periods last only 4-5 days.  If this bleeding continues, see your gyn physician for an exam and other testing.  If pregnancy is possible, obtain a serum HCG test to be certain, as some pregnancies outside the womb (ectopic) require immediate attention, and bleeding is common in those cases.

Sure: A person should seek medical attention just for having "all the symptoms of anemia," whatever those might be. Having unusually long periods, or having leg skin that dents when pressed, are also symptoms that by themselves should encourage a person to see her doctor. Her primary care doctor can take care of such situations, sometimes with help from an Ob-Gyn doctor or other specialists.

May be normal : A short light period is normal for some women and is common with some contraceptives. It would be more concerning if it is a change from normal and she has been having unprotected intercourse. Hope this helps.

Hormonal Imbalance: Most likely due to Hormonal Imbalance. If your Thyroid level is not corrected or Pcos is not treated etc..
Make sure a pelvic ultrasound and endometrial biopsy is performed..

At your young age,: Anovulatory bleeding is not uncommon and could be the reason for your irregular cycles. You can regulate your cycles with a birth control pill, but first get examined by your doctor. You two can discuss your options. If you are sexually active, check a home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. Good luck!

: If sexual activity has occurred, and pregnancy is possible, obtain a "home" pregnancy test or a serum HCG test to detect low levels of pregnancy hormone, as pregnancy outside the uterus (ectopic) is possible.  Consult your GYN physician for guidance if a pregnancy test is positive.

Probably premensrual: Breasts can be cystic right before your period.
They usually go away with the start of your period. Please make an appointment with your doctor for a breast exam to make sure there is nothing to worry about.
