Period length ?'s: Most post ovulatory menstrual periods last only 4-5 days. If this bleeding continues, see your gyn physician for an exam and other testing. If pregnancy is possible, obtain a serum HCG test to be certain, as some pregnancies outside the womb (ectopic) require immediate attention, and bleeding is common in those cases.
