IF the periods are : If the periods are very regular and occur predictably -  then it would likely be 'safe' (i.e. Unlikely to result in conception/pregnancy) to have unprotected intercourse and ejaculate inside on the first day after the menstrual cycle.

Varies: It may be ideal to wait 3-6 months after your previous miscarriage to try to get pregnant again. Although, there is controversial information out there. The World Health Organization recently showed a study stating that you can get pregnant right away with possibly less complications. In the end, it's up to you. :  Backwards thinking. Morning after pill is to be used after failure of contraceptive  not as part of your plan for contraception. Try doing something as simple as condom use (male or female) until your contraceptive pill is fully effacacious.

: Morning after pill has progesterone in it, which is also in your contraceptive pills, so that would be a lot of progesterone &amp; might have side effects.  If you have not already taken it I recommend not, though it may not harm.  Use of a condom or abstaining from sex until a full month of contraceptive is preferable

Quite effective: Emergency contraception (EC) pills are used after sex to lower the chance of pregnancy by about 70-80%. EC is a high dose of birth control hormones. Irregular bleeding or spotting is a common side effect. Nausea, abdominal pain or cramping, and fatigue may occur, but symptoms resolve in a day or two as the drug leaves the body soon. A home urine pregnancy test should be done 3 weeks after sex.

Ovulation required: Your wife can only get pregnant on the day of her ovulation.  Many of us recommend protection for three days prior to ovulation.  Most of the time the ovulation is well beyond day six of a cycle (your wife should know when she ovulates).
