Pain : Pain in the lower left quadrant of the abdomen can be from indigestion, or other sources of bowel irritation.  It can be caused by constipation.  If a patient has diverticuli, which are little extra loops on the bowel that can get food or feces impacted in them, then they will usually have persistent pain, fever, and sometimes vomiting.  Ovarian cysts from perimenopausal state can cause left-sided lower pain as you state.  If a patient had persistent pain, vomiting, or fever then they should contact their physician.

: Would probably stop the Tumeric and see if you symptoms resolve.  If they do I would avoid it but if not then would consult your PCP or out primary care clinic.

GI care: It seams that you are being evaluated for these conditions. How long on Protonix (pantoprazole) and carafate and how much benefit? Are some of your symptoms newer since on this regimen? Bloating and yellow stool may be suggestive of a need for eval of liver, your blood work would better tell this story. Follow up with your gastroenterologist.

Two ingredients: The medication you described contains 2 different ingredients.One ingredient is sold as Ponstel (mefenamic acid) which is available in the us by prescription only. The other ingredient would not be appropriate to use for menstrual cramps.

Agree it's normal: There are hormonal as well as architectural changes that occur after pregnancy and it sounds like that is what your body is going through.  It's hard to say why it's happening. It may go away as well.

Menstrual cramps: Try: omega- 3 fatty acids or magnesium (supplementation or through diet) with your doctor’s approval.   Nsaid'scan help with pain.  Discuss use of a traditional herbal like black cohosh with your doctor.  Chamomile tea can be soothing. Sipping green tea can also dissipate pain. Avoid caffeine, alcohol, extra salt.  A warm heating pad is beneficial. Acupuncture is excellent for dysmenorrhea.

Prostaglandins: During the period, a physiologic process occurs which leads to the sloughing (shedding) of the inner lining of the uterus, known as the endometrium.  What facilitates this involves the production of very powerful chemicals by the body known as prostaglandins.  These produce very strong contractions of the uterus which in some women can be as painful as labor. This also explains menstrual diarrhea.
