Maybe: If you are also "skipping" periods then peri menopause is a possibility more so then the menstrual cramping.

Wow...you're special: To have not skipped a period in perhaps 35+ years of menstrual life is amazing!  You're super normal!  Now you are experiencing some not atypical perimenopausal symptoms.  HOWEVER, the fact that the cramps have persisted all month is of some concern. Visit your doctor and consider an ultrasound examination of the pelvis for reassurance.

YES: however, I would suggest both a GYN exam and using either Advil 2 tab every 4-6 hrs or Aleve, (naproxen) 1 tab every 8 hrs if you are not allergic to these medicines.

No: he cannot get menstrual cramps because he does not menstruate.  sympathetic pain is a possiblity

Nope: No cancer. But I have seen at least 2 patients develop serious burns with those if not used properly or left unattended. Be careful, ok?

Pain: Severe cramps are common, but can be treated... Don't suffer, go and see your doctor... There are options.

Your choice : Many women can control these with OTC naproxin (Aleve) or ibuprofen started the day prior to expected menses. Others may benefit from the BC pill, that was developed initially as a way to deal with such issues. The BC side effect later became their dominant use.

See a GYN MD: Go see a gyn md to rule out causes of your severe cramps especially if not relieved by Ibuprofen rx.

Think muscles: ?Pelvic floor hypertonicity disorder (pfhd). Some women have high tone in pelvis.  Sexual activity causes the muscles to contract more thus more spasm. Unique nature of these muscles, this doesn't feel like muscle pain but can be uterine, bladder, vaginal or rectal discomfort, usually for 2-3 days after sex. Treatment pelvic floor pt & meds. Heavy lifting like emt is risk for this condition.

Find another Dr: there are treatment options for severe dysmenorrhea and there maybe something else going on causing your severe pain, like endometriosis.  You do not need to suffer in this way.  Sometimes doctors and patients don&#x27;t click.  Sometimes the patient needs to go elsewhere to be heard.  Keep trying.
