Mycolog II allergy: Mycolog II (Nystatin &amp; Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream) is a  dermatologic medication that contains both an antifungal (nystatin)  &amp; a synthetic corticosteroid . An allergy occurs when your body’s immune system creates antibodies to a foreign substance causing a reaction that can be mild to severe.

Yeast "infection": Technically, vaginal yeast "infection" is an overgrowth problem because the natural balance between lactobacilli & yeast has been upset; common causes are antibiotics (kill the lactobacilli), diabetes (more food for the yeast), frequent douching, etc. Mycolog helps decrease the amount of yeast to restore the balance. Many variables determine how long to restore this balance/"cure the infection".

See your doc if your symptoms persist for an exam and testing.

Depends: Nystatin is used to treat fungal infections. Triamcinolone is topical steroid, which is used to treat eczema or allergic contact dermatitis type reactions. I f the rash is being caused by an allergic reaction, using the triamcinolone cream twice daily on the affected area will help. However, roaches traditionally causes nasal allergy symptoms or worsening of asthma and rarely contact reactions.

Safe but...: The concept of safety is relative. Mycolog cream will not affect the intercourse, but will most likely not make it pleasant for both you and your partner. Traces of cream will get on his penis and in case of oral sex in his mouth or in your mouth if his penis is smeared with it. I just don't think it's going to be an experience you will look forward to in the future.
