Unrelated: It's hard to relate any of your symptoms to verapamil/isoptin, but a reasonable test is to temporarily stop it and see if your sx resolve in 2 or 3 days. If so, do they promptly return if you restart it? That would make causation highly probable. If not, I would look for another cause.

Drug/Lab monitor: Routine or regular  TSH levels are required to monitor thyroid hormone supplement therapy. Normal TSH levels can rule out Grave's disease. Abnormal thyroid hormone levels may cause mood and behavioral changes besides physical.  Routine blood electrolyte level are also required to monitor antidepressant, antihypertensive and antieplilpetic which may cause electrolyte imbalance and mood changes.

Determining exactly what you could be sensitized to in order to practice appropriate avoidance measures is also important. If medications and avoidance are not effective or not feasible allergen immunotherapy (allergy shots) could be an option as well. Other meds include Sudafed, Mucinex, (guaifenesin) Afrin, oral antihistamines
