Scalp Psoriasis: It is generally believed that psoriasis comes about as a combination of genetic, immune and environmental causes. It also has a tendency to run in families. Severe  scalp psoriasis sometimes warrants treatment with tablets or injections such as methotrexate, ciclosporin, Acitretin or biologic agents. Patients should be under the care of an experienced dermatologist.

Generic or genetic?: Assume you are referring to generic medications versus brand name. Although they are usually equivalent - there can be some differences. The amount of active agent isn't always identical and sometimes a person can react differently depending on what the carrier is.

No difference: All antibiotic resistance in malaria parasites (and in bacteria) has a gentic origin. These terms mean pretty much the same thing.

Cardiomyopathy: Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is a genetically inherited condition. Having said that, a person using drugs could die from drug use and have this condition as well. It can predispose to abnormal heart rhythms which can be fatal and drug use can elicit abnormal heart rhythms.

Assays = part of ans: Assays for drug response are more about metabolism of the drug and i wouldn't expect would be able to (in a binary yes/no manner) predict the full spectrum of side effects likely to occur on you as a patient.  Remember that in medicine as in life, there are few absolutes.  I would be wary of anyone or anything that ever predicts a 100% response.  Nothing is perfect.
