i have multiple drug allergies so am always nervous to try meds. is diflucan (fluconazole) generally safe? i use monistat w/no probs, but not working this time.

Diflucan, (fluconazole) is a prescription drug, at any rate, if in doubt and don't know whether you're are going to have a reaction to a certain drug, take the first dose in the prescriber's office, ER or urgent care waiting area,stay for an hour,if nothing happens, go home,if severe reaction,you're where you should be

Cause unknown: We do not understand completely why someone would develop an allergy to a medication, but it does happen. It is very important that once you develop an allergy to a medication that you avoid it in the future. This is because repeated exposures to an allergen tend to cause worse symptoms with repeated exposures.

can taking medication cause new symptoms of seasonal allergies? i had to take diflucan for about 1 1/2 months and ever since i started it and stopped a month ago i've been experiencing a tingling sensation in my nose that i've never had before?

Drug interactions: there are none between accutane and azithromycin .   There is a minor one between azithromycin and diflucan (fluconazole) but I suspect the diflucan (fluconazole) is a one time dose med for you.     I don't see any major issues with this combination.   If however you want to be absolutely sure  - hold the accutane while on the azithromycin and diflucan (fluconazole)

i had bv and took my medicine. the symptoms cleared up but now i have this discharge clear. it doesnt have a odor or a smell should i take diflucan perhaps? i am not itching either.

Clear discharge: While you might be perfectly right, offering to take diflucan is at least strange. If you had before similar symptoms before and they responded to empirical diflucan that will make somehow sense. If you studied on internet and among others that seems to be the next step that would still be understandable. Do you need a medical opinion or you would prefer to try diflucan?
