Yes and no: Both these OCP have the same type estrogen and progestin hormone in them. The estrogen hormone does not cause acne. The progestin hormone may cause acne, depending on the type. The type in your daughters pill usually does not aggravate acne. I do not think there is really a better choice for her.

Yes: Generic versions of medications are usually fine, but they are not identical. The fda allows  for a modest degree of difference in "bioequivalence". Essentially, a generic medication is allowed to be sold if it is between 80% - 125% of the brand name medication. Most generic medications are fine for most people, but there is always some percentage of patients for whom they are different.

Can be, for pain: For treatment of pelvic pain surgery is  helpful but many women get excellent results with medications. For fertility purposes surgical treatment or, alternatively ivf, are the only options.

Med side effects: Reclipsen  / Apri have been associated with depression. Discuss this with your treating provider.

Depends on start: Combination pills
you may start the combination pill at any time. If you start within five days after the start of your period, you are protected against pregnancy right away. You will not need to use a backup method of birth control.  You should also employ safe sex practices (use condoms).

Desogestryl, the progestin component in your pill is one of the preferred, low androgenic drugs that one would see the best response with.  Using it continuously without breaks or cycles is the most effective mode of treatment.
