False Positive: Most tests done in motion are less than 100% accurate. Also there are certain drugs you might be taking that can cause a test that shows positive for amphetamines. Certain cold medicines particularly Sudafed would test positive for amphetamines.

Some doctors recommend not using tylenol/motrin/advil to treat fever, because such meds may "mask" a fever that would otherwise send a patient to the doctor to get treatment for an infection. Some recommend avoiding meds that can increase heart rate (such as phenylephrine and sudafed).

Ask your doc.: You are doing well, why take the chance of getting an infection by a cosmetic procedure? I don't think the risk is worth it. Talk to your doctor and get his/her opinion.

What ethnic group are you?
Do you have a big spleen (if not done, need ultrasound or ct scan to look for big spleen which could cause the low counts)
any other lab abnormalities?

i have form of mds-refractory anemia. let's get into that later. have extreme drug reactions when using a new drug-siezures difficulty breathing etc. dr want to do pristiq/imitrex  istead of pristiq/fiorocet. i'm scared of severe reaction (always low hct)

Drug reaction: Refractory anemia has no impact on your  question. the medications you mention usually used for migraine..any medications in the world have side effects to small percentage of the patients and the majority usually benefit from the medications. if you are afraid of the side effects, you may not be able to use any medications at all
