Best allergy med: Hello, all the medications you mentioned are otc antihistamines. Each one works in allergy and some people prefer one over the other.The Allegra (fexofenadine) d that you referred to has an added decongestant that may be helpful. Review these medications with your doctor or pharmacist to see which is best for you.

Verification of tetanus protection and monitoring the site for redness or oozing is also important.Complex bites into the hand or web space between the fingers  should be evaluated and likely treated with an abx appropriate for the germs found in a cats mouth.

Don't know what cat: Is as a drug.  However, if you are using amphetamine like drugs, opiates, marijuana, benzodiazepines, pcp, Cocaine or other commonly abused drugs for which testing is usually done, then there is nothing you can do at this point. I would be more worried about having a drug problem than in being caught. What you can do is get help and be honest with yourself.If you try to beat test, they will find it.

Depends on: Allergy can cause eye itching, asthma, nasal symptoms and even hives .  It would depend on what organs are affected to determine what kind of treatment you may need. If it is nasal or eye symptoms, an antihistamine + decongestant may help. If it is asthma, you need to see your doctor. Getting rid of the pets would be the best solution in general.

Yes : Any anti-histamine will lessen your symptoms ; but the real problem is the allergen(cat).Use Benadryl (diphenhydramine) first for night-time allergy, it helps sleep and lessens allergic symptoms.

: This is an infected cat bite and requires prompt treatment with appropriate antibiotics to avoid septicemia. I recommend proceeding to the ER ASAP as you may need IV antibiotics in view of the redness&amp; swelling of the wound. Your cat has most likely had its rabies shot.  You may need a tetanus booster. You'll need follow-up care for this infection. The ER MD will decide on the best antibiotic

Allergy shots: Allergy medications will not take you a long way if you want to live with a cat. I suggest you see an allergist, get tested then get allergy shots for cats before you get one.

Talk to your doctor: You should tell your doctor about all the medications/drugs/supplements you take. For now quit taking stuff that your doctor did not prescribe.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

Yes, if mild: Generally, cat scratch disease is not serious. Medical treatment is not usually needed.  When it is severe, then antibiotics like Azithromycin can be helpful.

Accepted Answer

No: There is no contraindication to getting a ct scan of the head (without IV contrast).  It is always important to limit radiation exposure, so make sure the scan is indicated.  Some claustrophobic people may have a problem undergoing the scan, because your head is surrounded by a big ring.
