No reason: Lipomas will form with no good reason, on any place on the body and to anyone.  Simply fat cells forming a more organized shape.  Can get them liposuctioned if you have the money.  Otherwise your insurance will pay a general surgeon to cut it out.  Small outpt procedure.

No: some people are prone to making lipomas. For others it may be related to genetic disorder. The treatment for unsightly lipomas or lipomas that are causing discomfort is surgery to remove the lipoma.

MRI Contrast: Gadolinium is the contrast agent used in MRI and MRA. It will help in cases looking at blood vessels more closely or in cases where surgery was performed. It is safe and can be used even if patients are allergic to CT scan dye. Caution should be used in patiens with kidney disease, as gadolineum can cause a form of serious kidney disease.

Several possiblities: Lumps on the scalp could be lipoma, cyst, fibroma. Best to check in with your regular doc for exam. Most are benign. Be well.

Get a second opinion: Lipomas, although benign, tend to grow.  If yours is "peri-callosal' and you have the symptoms as described, the two are likely related and deserve at least follow-up. possibly treatment.  If the first neurologist (I hope that the diagnosing doctor is a specialist), has not recommended treatment, see another.  If he has and you trust him/her, you have a choice to make.

Not much helps: Lipomas are benign fatty "tumors" which are harmless and quite common.  Genes determine who is likely to get a lot of them.  There is no current preventative medication or treatment allopathic or alternative that i know of, but the treatment is pretty simple.  They are often easily removed in an outpatient surgical procedure with local anesthesia when needed.  If they don't hurt, leave them alone.

Surgery: I recommend removal of any lipoma that is enlarging or causing symptoms.  I'm assuming the lipoma is in the abdominal wall or skin.

Seek expert opinion: I would advise that you  consult a breast cancer surgeon or medical oncologist who has reputation of being a specialist in breast diseases/cancer. Based on your history, you may need to have a biopsy of the lumps/masses/ shadows that you have mentioned. That is the final solution to any palpable/visible lump in the breast. This will remove your anxiety which is due to the uncertainty you are facin.
