Varies: That could be treated with ocp's or a cyclic Progesterone instead of an immediate d&c.  If a recheck shows the echogenic foci still present a D&C may be required.

: Endometrial thickening of "12mm" and assuming a pathology diagnosis of endometrial currettings consistent with "atypical cells", such prolonged bleeding "50 days" may require additional treatment beyond "Primolut N".  Suggest a second opinion from a GYN oncologist.

Sure.: Cytotec (misoprostol) will soften your cervix and (along with a NSAID such as motrin) can make the endometrial biopsy a much less uncomfortable experience.

Surrogacy: Its where you find someone that will carry a baby for you.Your hubby's sperm is added to eggs harvested from you and they use IVF to plant the result in a surrogate. This is quite expensive and not covered by insurance, but it is a way for you to have a kid. Otherwise you are done.

Positive HCG ?: A positive HCG after a "medical abortion" may indicate persistent pregnancy, and/or a pregnancy occurring after your "medical abortion", with the bleeding representing a possible pregnancy outside the uterus (ectopic). Duphaston may not treat this successfully. Get a repeat HCG in a week to see if it is elevated, and further treatment is indicated.

Very early: precancerous changes to the endometrium (lining inside the uterus).  If left alone, it can progress on to endometrial cancer.  There are also different levels of hyperplasia (complex, with atypia).  Don't ignore it --- it is easy to treat medically.

Uterine lining: For a variety of reasons, a GYN will take a tissue sample of the lining of the uterus. This is frequently done to be sure that there aren't any worrisome cells present. The tissue sample is frequently referred to as endometrial currettings.  The method used to sample the uterus is called an endometrial biopsy or a D&amp;C (dilation and currettage). Good luck.
