Unlikely.: Growth is related to many factors, including nutrition and genetics, and short term decreased sleep would have minimal effect on overall growth but could affect alertness and mood.    More important, is why your sleep duration has been reduced.  Stress, anxiety, depression, xs caffeine, and overactive thyroid can all affect sleep and should be discussed with your doc.  Studies show 8-9 hrs best.

Several issues: Poor growth can reflect problems in 3 basic areas. Poor potential: if a kid is genetically destined to be small due to family pattern or genetic defect. Poor nutrition: good nutrition assures the body will have what it needs to grow while a lack will slow it. Poor health: medical conditions can lead to poor nutrient absorption, excessive energy loss, poor hormonal balance, etc. & poor sleep.

Water balance: First, if kidney function is normal, excess water dosn't flush out electrolytes, Second, electrolyes and water balance have nothing to do with growth and cannot stunt it. Third, common internet-driven beliefs about drinking lots of water are nonsense. Except in very hot climates and/or intense exercise, there is no health benefit to drinking any more than to satisfy thirst.

Cerebral palsy is a : group of disorders of impaired motor functions described by the way they  limit mobility, posture, arm/ hand use &amp; oral motor skills. In kids with CP, growth is slower than that of neurotypical peers, the difference is greater with age. Puberty may be delayed &amp; last longer. Poor oral motor function, endocrine problems &amp;  gastroesophageal reflux all can impact nutrition, growth &amp; body composition.

Unless you are allergic to whey and having frequent allergic inflammation as a response, research indicates that high-protein diets may have a positive impact on children's height. This nutrient increases growth hormone levels, helping children grow taller/stay leaner.

: Increase in height is possible when the growth centers in the long bones remain open. An x-ray of the wrist/hand can be evaluated for growth centers. If they are closed as most are at 16 in women, 18 in men, you cannot "unclose" them. Once closed no more increase in height is possible.
