Inguinal adenopathy: This is probably an enlarged lymph node which is helping to protect the area.  On the other hand, if this is new, getting larger or you get more of them or have other symptoms or are simply worried, have your family doctor take a look.

Groin lump: This could be a reactive lymph node that is due to an infection. One would be worried about any recent infections on the legs or even any sexually transmitted infections. If you have had any recent unprotected sex, may want to get tested. Other reasons to get seen is if you develop fevers, chills, night sweats, or if the lump gets bigger or doesn't go away after 2-4 weeks.

Yes: For something that has been bothering you for 10 years it is always a good idea to have a fresh brain think about it. The other thing is that when a doc tells you all tests are negative that means everything he has checked for did not show up. That is why you may need a fresh set of eyes.
