Bacteria harbor: Cosmetic sponges pick up bacteria from your hands, your skin, the environment and (ugh!) your friends if you share them.  They are meant to be disposable as you cannot get them clean b washing them. On kitchen sponges bleach can be used but not w/cosmetic sponges on facial area. If you notice you have a skin/eye infection throw out your makeup &sponges. If increased skin breakouts, toss sponges!

It is uncertain if maca can worsen a goiter.
