H pylori: Definitely not.
It's a bacteria recognized in the late 1980s that is associated with peptic ulcer disease.  What's interesting is that many people may have it and yet have no ulcer disease. So, it's only worth looking for if you are suspecting an ulcer.

No test  is perfect: H.pylori is a organism that promotes ulcers. Your negative serum test implies an absence of protective antibodies, presumably due to lack of exposure or infection. Of course, a "false negative" result occurs with all testing.  There are many ways to test for H.pylori so if you have risk factors, exposures, or high suspicion of infection get a confirmatory study.

H Pylori: Means that you have been exposed to h.Pylori in the past...Maybe you were treated already. It does not necessarily mean that you have an active infection.

Accepted Answer

Probably not: Globus sensation can be caused by several different possibilities.   Gastroesophageal reflux is a common cause , however, h pylori gastritis is not.  I would treat the gerd  aggressively and see if the globus sensation improves.   I recommend that patients undergo an egd (stomach scope) to rule out any underlying conditions such as a peptic ulcer, esophagitis or hiatal hernia.
