i'm getting involuntary visible muscle spasms all over, but in particular my forearm and biceps. i've been diagnosed with behets and now suspecting fibromyalagia as well. i am wondering are these spasms common in these conditions?

: Brief comment:  If you do indeed possess Behcets, peculiar that you would have a doctor diagnose "fibromyalgia", which is a description of pain often of unknown origin (perhaps a sleep disorder), and is often a wrong diagnosis.  From your description, would suggest evaluation for small fiber neuropathy, or a myositis, or even metabolic or electrolyte dysfunction.

Vertigo: The symptoms of meniere's are variable and can present at different times. Patients can get spontaneous episodes of vertigo with or without nausea and vomiting, ringing in the ears, progressive hearing loss, or feeling of pressure in the ears. These symptoms may also present in conditions such as thyroid dysfunction, autoimmune disease, acoustic neuroma, multiple sclerosis, and must be ruled out.

Other types of pain medication include non steroidal anti inflammatory and mood stabilizers.

Seizure disorder, uncontrolled heart disease or hypertension, psychiatric conditions, etc. Check the faa's website or with a pilot group like the aopa. Also talk to your local ame.

When to see an ENT D: It varies... It depends on the problem and the experience of the g.P. Anytime a patient is not cured by simple measures they are a candidate for a specialty referral. Often a gp doesn't have the time to sort through a difficult problem like dizziness so they refer to an ENT for further tests and treatment.
